Kano Assembly approves 20 Special Advisers for Gov. Yusuf

The Kano State House of Assembly has given its approval to Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf’s request for the appointment of 20 Special Advisers. The announcement was made by the Speaker of the House, Ismail Falgore, during a plenary session on Monday in Kano.

The request letter from the governor was thoroughly deliberated upon by the members of the house, and they unanimously agreed to grant the request. According to Mr. Falgore, the approval is aimed at enabling Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf to appoint advisers who will assist in implementing his policies and programs for the benefit of the people.

During the discussions, Lawan Hussaini, the Majority Leader of the house, expressed his support for the appointment of Special Advisers, stating that it would contribute to the rapid development of the state. He emphasized that these advisers would play a crucial role in helping the governor consolidate his policies and programs.

In addition to the approval of the governor’s request, the Speaker and other members of the house recently visited several sites in the state. They inspected the ongoing refuse clearance efforts and the renovation of Hasiya Bayero hospital. The speaker expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work and praised the large turnout of patients at the hospital, highlighting its importance to the public.

Furthermore, Mr. Falgore expressed his gratitude to the hospital staff for their dedicated service to humanity. He assured them of the government’s commitment to ensuring access to quality healthcare for all residents of the state. The speaker also commended the performance of the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board for their effective clearance of refuse in the state.

With the approval of the appointment of Special Advisers and the government’s commitment to improving essential services, Kano State aims to enhance governance and promote the overall well-being of its citizens.
